BIAS Mission and Purpose
KISS - Keep It Simple Soldier! Those who served know the last word has been changed, but the sentiment has not. The VA's own process can be daunting if looked at through the wrong pair of glasses. We at BIAS would like to provide a 20/20 plan of action to help maneuver through what could be a confusing process.
Soldiers have all the medical evidence one could need and still get denied within the process. Some cases are open and shut while others require the dots to be surgically connected. In steps Boots In Action Service (BIAS), LLC, biased toward veterans for veterans.
I had no knowledge that I could file a claim. When I learned that I could, I had no desire to file one. God allowed a now 76 year old Vietnam Vet to get very real with me. As he explained, it was my right to file and my responsibility to my family to help provide for them. I put my intent to file in on 06/20/2020 and filed on 09/30/2020. There was an award, denial, supplemental and finally on 02/24/2021 granted 100% P&T. Granted this is not the norm and hats off to my Lord and Savior, for allowing me to be me, in this process. Knowing what to ask , what to write and how to decipher a denial letter makes the difference. Not can but does. -NoNonsenseN8©
